Don’t forget to come down to Santa Cruz this Friday (May 17) for the first
Friday night races of the year!

The Competitors’ Meeting will be at 5:30pm, the start’s at 6:30pm, and no
races will start after 8pm. Come up to the club afterward for pizza and
prizes!

Garth Hobson will have the boatyard open before the 10am skippers meeting. You can rig and store your trailer in the boatyard, which is here:

AGENDA

- Open the meeting to everyone for short comments and items to add to the agenda. Lengthy comments or big new items will be addressed under “All other business” at the end.
- D24’s web presence
- More groundwork on a fleet expansion project
- Status of new events on calendar: Chichester, Short Course Champs, Del Valle, Santa Cruz distance race
- Issues raised from the floor at the last meeting: D25 cooperation; attention to juniors in D24.
- Progress on used boat market study

There will be a Laser class meeting at StFYC after racing on Saturday of our district championship, the Elvstrom-Zellerbach regatta. A meeting room has been reserved. Please feel free to send items for the agenda, which I’ll post next week. The meeting start time is after racing and racers have made at least one pass through the food line, so a little unpredictable and probably between 4pm & 6pm.

If you are not sailing that day, come on over anyway. If you plan on sailing the one day of Half Moon Bay YC’s Commodore’s Cup and want to attend the class meeting, let me know and we’ll do our best to wait for you.

Just wanted to let you know that Svendsens can support the Lasers by delivering replacement items to the STFYC Sunday morning prior to the first race. If you can advise the Laser group that by calling in an order to either myself at the Chandlery or the Alex on Saturday prior to close of business, we can take the credit card, pick the product and have it placed on the delivery truck for Sunday morning delivery.
