Who we are…

We’re a bunch of sailors who race Lasers in the San Francisco Bay Area. We meet regularly to practice at a lake in Mountain View. The location provides moderate, regular summer breezes, and exciting, tactical short course racing.

2013 Summer Series

The 2013 Summer Series will run every Wednesday evening May 1 through September 25.

First start is 6:00, but many arrive later. Just join in when you arrive.

If you have not already subscribed to the District 24 mail list, then now would be a good time to do so to get weekly updates on the racing.

Membership, Dues, etc

Just show up, sail, and be nice. A launch fee of $5.00 is payable to the park

Shoreline Lake

In addition to hosting our year round Laser activities, Shoreline Aquatic Center rents sailboats, windsurfers, and kayaks. There is a Summer Camp for the kids, too. www.shorelinelake.com

Local Conditions

Check out the Moffett Field Current Conditions http://w1.weather.gov/obhistory/KNUQ.html to anticipate conditions at the lake. Shoreline is roughly half-way between Palo Alto Airport and Moffett Field.
